Moving Update

It’s been a month since we moved to Batesville. And I am just so grateful for all of the ways God has taken care of us and provided for us, during this transition. We are absolutely loving it, here. Living in town has so many perks! We are literally 3 minutes from everywhere and it is GLORIOUS!

Jake and I were talking, recently, about where we want to be in the future and we both agreed that we want to stay in town. We love having access to places when we need something, we love the 25 minute drive to Oxford for work, and we love being in the middle of everything going on in town so we can stay involved in our town and get to know people. We truly want to invest in our town. We want to know as many people as possible and form relationships so our future children will be surrounded with community.

Community is so important to us. We want to find a loving church and town. We want to be surrounded with loving friends that will invest in us and point us closer to Christ. Speaking of church and friends, we have been visiting churches and think we have found one that we love. We haven’t tried out the Sunday school class, so  we are going to give it a little bit longer before we are sure it is the church for us.

Our house is almost finished and fully unpacked. I just have to put decorations and pictures on the walls. Don’t worry! I will take pictures and give you an update once I finish. 😉 I’ve never realized how hard it is to make a rental house a home until now. I may also do a post about tips for decorating a rental house. We will see.

I feel like this post has become a blogging planner, more than a post. Tomorrow is Jake and my’s anniversary and my cousin’s high school graduation. How is he graduating!! Anyways, I won’t be blogging much because of the busyness of our schedule the next few days, but I will be back next week with pictures and fun from our weekend!
